Having holidays together as a family is always a special time. This year we weren't complete (only 4 out of 7) but nonetheless had a wonderful time in the eastern part of France which is close to Germany. Since my father and my brother love rock climbing, I eventually got into it, too. And I love it! It's quiet, close to nature, challenging mind and body and builds trust and reliance towards the people you climb with. I can't wait to climb again.

German Alps
I love the mountains. Even though the sea has always some kind of vacation feeling to it, the mountains is where I feel at home. This summer, besides of having the chance of staying a few days in the mountains, I had the more appreciated privilege of meeting and talking to friends again. Even though space, calling and circumstances separate us most of the time, I cherish those moments of fellowship and look forward for that day and place, where our fellowship shall never end. Thanks, God!

Thailand
After 24 hours of bus riding and an hour of chaos in Bangkok (I got kicked out the taxi...), I finally arrived in Phuket. I stayed a few days there and had the opportunity to go to different beaches (thank you, Por!), relaxing, swimming, cruising around and have a fun time together. Finally, I needed to go back to Bangkok and catch my flight home. What privilege and surprise it was to meet my burmese friends there before I went to the airport! Thank you for thai food and fellowship!

Angkor Wat
Thank you Sehya for your help and a good stay in Siem Reap! I could rent a decent bike from his company and had a full day to explore the huge area of Angkor by myself. If you plan to go there one day visit his website: http://www.goshencyclingtours.com/. I came home completely exhausted. The next morning I took the bus to Bangkok and traveled further to my friend living in Phuket.
